The refurbishment project(2012) of Zanav Home in Banglore was designed by Soumitro Ghosh and Nisha Mathew Ghosh by introducing steel and glass to add additional floor spaces and to increase the natural light and ventilation in the existing concrete building. The combination of concrete and steel structure was studied in detail. The structure of the steel staircase and the use of steel and glass for skylights was decoded in detail.
