Ahmedabad is having diversity in its culture, nature, festivals, as well as in its Heritage as various rulers came here and built various monuments among which some of them are existing and some are in dilapidated condition also Ahmedabad has a culture of poles in which, so many houses are there which accommodates so many people. But the functionality of built heritage is either changed or vanished like step wells and lakes in which water is the most prime factor and it needs to be there else the beauty of it will depleted and their functionality ids at risk also cleanliness is another important factor that needs to be considered as it is directly associated with the health, living standard of people. The main concern here is to take care of heritage not only for its built fabric but also to show some consensus for the people about their health, their awareness to preserve those heritage practices as well as to make clean healthy environment. we are majorly focusing on two areas, one which is area of study (AMC) and another is area of interventions (area within old city & step well by state government and lake which has a heritage value. Those area of focus were identified through our preliminary as well as detailed survey and stakeholder meetings.
