Construction and Structure I

The first project involved studying a corbelled arch structure and trying to execute it in real life. We understood the concept, made mistakes, understood the errors and tried to correct them. This hands-on experience was extremely valuable in gaining knowledge. The second project was an individual project, where we were assigned materials and had to study one small-scale and one large-scale structure. The material assigned to me was a bamboo structure and I looked at the roofing of the structure. We had to analyse potential failures and suggest possible solutions for the same.
