The course was focussed on learning and understanding the basic concepts of structure. It comprised of learning about moment of inertia, centre of gravity, bending moment to testing the compressive and tensile strengths of materials in lab. It also had a site study of the structure focussing on transfer of loads and compression and tension. Towards the end it emphasised on staircase details
