The MIT Senseable Lab project begins its projects and research work with a vision for an urban future. Urban future is designed for showcasing at public events and exhibitions. The lab is in traditional academic research by analyzing the data that has been collected and producing research papers. The e-Trash Transparency Project was designed to get real data to find out what really happens when you drop your old computer, monitor or printer at a charity or at an electronics recycler.
