There are two projects discussed in the preseatation: Solid Waste Mangement in the slums and Information Education and Communication (IEC)

The main aim of the Solid Waste Mangement is to ensure daily collection from the slums followed by assured monitoring. The project involves the Swacch Doot (Wastepickers) from each slum to collect wastes from every households and dump it in the bins that will be placed at exits of the slums and later that will be carried by the lorry.
The main aim of IEC awares people through various mediums.

Both the projects are interdependant.
