Ujjvala Krishna is currently an urban fellow at IIHS, Bangalore and graduated from CEPT University in 2021. She has worked for a year as a teaching assistant in the domain of architectural history, and at Abari, a design firm in Nepal, designing and prototyping collapsible shelters. Dissatisfied with her architectural education, she is keen to explore the connections between the built and policy, and negotiations between various agencies involved in the process of design. Her undergraduate research thesis explored the spatial type of servant quarters in apartment housing, understanding the various socioeconomic aspects at play and their manifestations in space.
