This studio course on moving images introduces students to the art of filmmaking, with a focus on visual storytelling for screens across emerging formats. It begins with film appreciation, helping students understand and explore the impact of films as a medium. Designed for beginners, the course assumes no prior knowledge, guiding students through each step of the filmmaking process, from initial ideas to final production.

Students will engage with different aspects of filmmaking, including scripting, cinematography, editing, and sound
design, through hands-on assignments and exercises. These activities are crafted to build foundational skills, allowing students to practice and understand technical concepts. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with essential tools to express their own stories and ideas through moving images.
