There is a need to define the building products and systems before we designed them. The products or systems which complete the functioning of any building can be called as building products and systems. The building is the whole formed by several parts that contribute to the effect or purpose of the whole, and no part may be removed without some damage to the whole. The aim of the studio was to design the most comprehensive way an innovative system of construction which would truly correspond to industrial requirements. The intention was not to design for a specific building typology but to achieve a versatile prefabricated modular building panel system suitable for easy assembly on the site. The study of innovative materials, technology and production processes was carried out to achieve the final outcome. Jean Prouvé suggested that courage is a fundamental quality to a change in attitude towards innovation in design.
