The aim of this studio was to understand a brand and its various touch-points and come up with design strategies to enhance/revamp the brand.
J&D customs, based on Baroda is a brand customization brand. The reason behind choosing this brand was firstly because it is a sort of new category. Also, there are many bike brands and stores but we don’t see many bike customization store.
The major touch points of the company are website and social media. In comparison to their competitors, what makes this brand different is the simple, sophisticated and client centric design. The brand reaches out to those who know about customization, which is the major drawback as they are limiting their target audience by making the idea of customization not accessible to others.
Hence, the design goal was to make the idea and concept of customization accessible and accepted among all bike owners.
