Ahmedabad is a city located in the state of Gujarat, India. Ahmedabad coexists with the old and the new. The precinct documented in this publication lies in Odhav-Nikol; on the eastern fringe of Ahmedabad, and north to the Odhav GIDC. The precinct is located at around 12 kilometres from the Ashram road. The precinct shows characteristics of a typical lower income neighbourhood. The publication is about how this affordable precinct is undergoing the change.
