Ascend and Descend is a kinetic staircase which works with a simple mechanism of hydraulic system. the pivots at the ends enables the staircase to perform three functions. When connected on the first level, it can be used as a staircase or as a bridge. The idea behind the design is space and energy efficiency. Materials like wood and steel are used to make the design universal.
