Shimla, situated in the state of Himachal Pradesh is a cold and dry place. Taap is a facade that plays with light and shadow. It allows the user to enjoy the heat and light of the sun. It also makes it easier for the user to utilise the balcony during rains and storms. It works in the same fashion as an umbrella. Taap has one module, that gets repeated all over the facade to create an interesting pattern.
