Dwelling is one of the most basic yet most complex architectural types. It brings a sense of locus and gravitas to one’s sense of being in the world. City contains several layers of collective Emotions, Experiences and Characters.Mandu in Madhya Pradesh is an ancient fortress town located on top of a plateau and known for its Architecture. At the southern end of Mandu, is Rewa Kund - a lake surrounded by hills to its west, south and east. It is a long lake extending in the north-south direction. On it’s north-eastern side, generous steps, flanked by a grand arched aqueduct, ascend to the palace of Baz Bahadur. On the north-western edge of the kund is the site- it’s most prominent features being the ghat, a 15th century ruin and a large Southern Magnolia tree.
