ScreenD is a new-age Film Museum project at Kala Academy, Goa. Divided into 5 zones based on types of MOVIE SETS, the design involves the feeling that the user can enter the making of a movie at various ‘stages’ and levels of production. Each zone is multi-floor with its own circulation and integrates different types of sets which then house exhibits of each movie department. The exhibits are a mixture of visual and interactive displays, imbued with a set backdrop that is an experiential exhibit in itself. The user can participate with the displays, thereby becoming the exhibit themselves, or be a spectator to others taking part in the ‘movie’.
