The Studio will require Students to design a Film Museum for either the Indian Film Industry (or any other prominent Film Industry) at an Identified Site. The Museum will not just be a Exhibit but will also have live programs, interactive installations, small theatres.
Students will first Study & analyse the History & Cultural impact of Cinema, various components/disciplines of Film-making. A short study paper will be required to find parallels in the creative process of Film making & Interior Design.
Then, on an Identified Site, Students will design & show an ability to solve layered problems of adaptive reuse of Site, applying Filmmaking disciplines into ways which can be physically demonstrated or exhibited. Lastly, Films cultural impact on our society will be shown through their design abilities.
