Terracespaces : Merging with nature

Terracespaces: a place where one interacts with nature and people between valleys of Srinagar. The design focuses on merging with the context, nature, and vernacular architecture of the Himalayas. Kath-khuni architecture is used in order to have earth-quake resistance and connect to the roots of the people there. Sunspaces are provided on the south and west side to gain maximum sunlight and also acts as interaction spaces between users and nature. Institute consists of an admin block, hostels, and lecture rooms facing the spill-out space and the farmlands of Srinagar.
