Center for Classical Music and Learning

The site given strategically sits in the precinct of Sarkhej Roza's complex near the water tank and the lake edge. The urban fabric around does not cater to the public at large as it lacks communal open spaces and built forms.
The project responds to and aims to enhance these community gatherings and leisure spaces by acting as a filter between the public and the monument. A performance space for classical music and learning bridges the gap between the urban fabric and the landscape. The blend of natural landscape with the built form creates a sinuous yet disciplined space.
