The Common Ground

The project is about creating a common ground for the city near the reminiscent of past -Surat castle. The intervention is in on the edge which marks the foot print of the fort wall. Historically the fort wall was built to protect the city and restrict the connect between the two areas. This project uses the same imprint but ironically connect the common ground, the sea, the castle to the city by giving room for different activities which are common on the streets of the city.
