Electrification of Micro-Mobility vehicles, Vijayawada

The feasibility study for the electrification of micro-mobility in the city of Vijayawada has been carried out in various stages. At the preliminary stages several research papers were studied to understand the various aspects in the field of electric mobility. These include types of EVs, batteries, charging infrastructure technologies, various adoption strategies, policies adopted by central and state Government to enhance the development of EV eco-system. Later looked into specific mode, where opportunities, barriers, and components of the system were analysed. This report looks into electrification of Micro-mobility vehicles in the city of Vijayawada. So city characteristics were studied which include the mode share, travel pattern etc. Further, demand for micro-mobility is obtained by data recorded through surveys using SPSS. Financial and economic analysis of the project is analysed in order to understand the feasibility of the project. Finally, an EV roadmap for the city has been drafted
