Electrification of Public Transport - Dehradun

The objective of the study is to understand the role of stakeholders, governmental institutions and other non-governmental institutions in bundling and unbundling the services of the public transport system. Public transport in case of Dehradun is operated completely by the private sector, therefore to set up an institutional framework such that there is a nodal agency which is unified and provides services to the citizens in proper uniformity. Another objective is to understand and analyze the role of electric mobility in reshaping the current scenario of the public transportation system with better operational efficiency, making it more eco-friendly and sustainable.
