Impact Of LULC Change On Hydrological Parameters

The need of land resources and varied human activities have an effect on the climate, soil, vegetation etc, which undergoes changes inturn affecting the land use pattern, thus putting forward the need for sustainable concepts for proper utilization and management. The study aims to provide insights into the impacts of land use landcover change on hydrological parameters over two decades on the Nag river basin, which covers the Nagpur city. Various remote sensing techniques, geospatial analysis and hydrological modelling has been adopted to carry out the study along with statistical approaches.
