Passive Comfort Lab

The Passive Comfort Lab deals with concepts and practices of climate, solar geometry, heat transfer, passive design strategies and thermal comfort of occupants. The learning and theories of building physics are then applied to design and fabricate a solar cooker prototype. Further, energy simulations and parametric analysis was carried out to understand the heat gains in a building and to optimise the building envelope.
