Passive Comfort Lab

The Passive Comfort Lab focuses on concepts and theories of solar geometry, building physics and heat transfer principles. These learnings were incorporated in the design and fabrication of a solar cooker. The concepts were also used to learn and understand passive comfort strategies, and thermal comfort of occupants. Further, in the second half of the semester, building energy simulation was learnt and carried out to  understand the effect of energy conservation measures at the envelope level in buildings.
