Compiling a Booklet

Located at the end of the first semester, the exercise brings together all the writing undertaken so far. It involves reading and reflection on the logic of the exercises, in order to present them in the form of a booklet that others, who were not part of the process, could make sense of. 

While the students are encouraged to use the skills in working with layouts that the studio provided, the focus of the exercise is on bringing together the text and taking stock of the variety of skills developed, and on developing preliminary skills to use visual and verbal language to bring together writing that covers a variety of genres and skill levels.
