Describing Objects

Through this first incursion into writing, the aim is to begin to look at the world around as designed, and put into words our observation. The exercise articulates the need to bring together visual and verbal mediums to reflect on what is accessible around, and also to communicate our readings of objects to others who may not have direct access to them. 

The exercise begins to engage with the connections between image and text, appropriate use of captions, titling and the structural aspects that make for clear communication.
