Scaling up from the work during the previous semester, the exercise emphasizes attention to detail in observing and articulating verbally and with the support of visual materials, aspects concerning the physical and experiential qualities of spaces the writer has access to. While once again starting from an acknowledgement that the knowledge at this stage of one's studies is limited, the practice of attentively looking at and describing spaces through however limited a lens, allows for the possibility of engagement with the structure and form of writing itself, and the way it enables engagement for the reader.
The text focuses around identifying material qualities of the space, and the consequent experiences an user would have within it, and presenting these through words, supported by clearly-captioned photographs.
