Reflecting on Studio Exercises

R4

In a series of brief exercises introduce at the culmination of studio engagements with different skills, we reflect on different aspects of the learning process, from the pertinence of the abilities and skills developed to our practice as designers; to the process through which the outcome of the exercise was achieved.

The set of exercises covers the basics of professional communication, emphasizing on appropriate register, tone and conventions in interacting with designers and others; on carefulness in presenting one's own work and allowing one's linguistic skills to lead an audience through an exhibition of one's work even in the absence of the author.

The short-form writing allows, through multiple iterations, for the development of an eye for clarity and concise expression and an awareness of the readership to whom the text is addressed.
