A farm in an urban context would be a retreat from the clockwork urban lifestyle of the urban dweller. They would get disconnected from the business of the city, the dense neighbourhood and be able to find peace in the therapeutic nature of the farm and glimpses of the river. 
The intervention aims to create a community of people who indulge in the farm-to-table concept. This would be a place where the city dwellers could gather on a daily or weekly basis and engage with farming activities and feast together in the heart of Ahmedabad's old city.
