RANGEELA - Play, Food and Entertainment

Rangeela is a recreational space for the construction workers community at Keshavbaug. The three main features of Rangeela is Play, Food and Entertainment. Play refers to a safe play and learn environment for the children of the construction workers. Food is the mid-day meal serving and dining area. The builders of these projects provide mid-day meal to their employees. A dining area were the mid-day meal is served. Towards the later part of the day, fruit and vegetable vendors, and snack stalls use this space as a platform to sell their commodoties. Entertainment of the construction workers and their families in the form of drama and performances, movie screening, festivities and celebrations. Rangeela is that platform that not only provides a safe learn and play environment for the children but also acts as a venue for multiple activities throughout the day for necessaties and recreation of the construction workers.

Mood Board was curated to bring in a lit and celebratory colour palette in contrast to the bare construction towers in the background. drawn in from truck art, colours and furnitures from the dabhas and festival mood lighting to light up the space.
