Concrete is a building material . This course focuses on concrete and its versatility, how concrete can be used apart from its conventional uses. It includes gaining basic knowledge about concrete, having hands on experience in producing concrete in different conditions and then further conceptualizing and working on our own product made using concrete. This course was divided into modules of different topics to be learned about and working upon. 1. Module 1 :- Identification of raw material : Concrete is a mixture of different raw materials. so , before understanding concrete as a whole we had to understanding raw material first. 2. Module 2 ;- concrete trials by volumetric batching ; learn to cast concrete with the help of volumetric batching , tested concrete as per is codes. 3. Module 3 :- Exploration of new raw material : Find 4 new materials , which when added to concrete enhanced its property and be useful for its certain application or purpose . 4. Module 4 :- Material library : Producing a library as per the desired requirements , designing , preparing a mix design appropriate to the design , preparing form work drawing and making it , casting , demolding and repeat the process for 4 times and finishing all molds 5. Module 5 :- Analyze special concrete : Total 16 new special concrete were selected where each student did research on them and listed probable application product on it . 6. Module 6 :- Project Work : project work was done where each student did research on one special concrete and presented a problem statement and how will the concrete overcome it .
