WHERE MATERIAL MEETS DESIGN | CEPT

The studio focused on exploration of bamboo,steel and wood as structural materials. A basic joinery was o be developed to form a structure/element using these materials. Here, ball and socket joint was used as the joinery to explore different possibilities of movement in a building. A facade system was developed using ball and socket joint in combination with hinge and pivot joints.
