The Twirl - Stool

The semester started with making us observe details of objects and understanding how the objects work are their assembly. Later, we focused on optimisation, drawings, and details.
The final project, that is, the Re-design stool process focused on understanding the design principles of Master Architects and deriving a stool based on the understanding of the Architect’s work and their principles. Studying Santiago Calatrava and his principles on the Turning Torso, inspired me to work on a stool based on the twist of the building. This semester overall helped us learn a lot of things we tend to not focus on when it comes to design and would later help us in building other designs in a more driven perspective.
