A Water Pavilion

This project is aimed towards enhancing the place for the backbone of our country, farmers, in Surat, Gujarat. The unused wasteland surrounded by farmlands with canals is transformed into a place that supports the living structure of the farms, villages, and places nearby. The pavilion is in two parts - A water tank and mount, the water tank is an expansion to a canal that deflects from the main canal and connects to different farmlands. The expansion to the small canal gives a place for women for washing clothes, a water pool for bathing activities, and a tank to store water. The mount resembles nature and its formation. It rises from the bottom sort of a tree and takes a different form and place with step formation covered with edible green plants.
