Echo Verse- a progression to water

Echo verse means the last word or syllable in a line is repeated or echoed underneath to form a rhyming line. Echo Verse is an abode in the Blackbuck Sanctuary of Velavadar where one can leave behind the worries of their hectic life and immerse themselves in the peaceful surroundings. The space is created by taking the wetlands as an inspiration. The wetlands provide a relief from the harsh scorching sun and give a sense of calmness and coolness. Water is used as a symbolic element which acts a buffer and directs one towards the existing water body which eventually comes as a surprise. The stopovers who come to visit the sanctuary  can access the machan giving pause and a view to the travelers roaming around. The porosity of the house increases as one one moves towards the water body. The element of roof is articulated to harvest water and give direction and depth to the movement towards water.
