The project chosen aims to construct a futuristic gallery to showcase and educate people about Astronomy. The execution phase of this project has been studied by addressing the culture, principles and techniques of construction management. Regular site visits were a part of this study and it focussed extensively on topics like Preconstruction Activities, Site Layout Planning and Analysis, Risk Management, Planning and Scheduling using Primavera, Contract Management, Quality Management, Job Hazard Analysis, Material Management, Cost Management including Management Information Systems, Progress tracking through Earned Value Management and Lean construction tools like Value Stream Mapping and Foreman Delay Survey.
