Stone - Edge

As quoted by Peter Zumthor, “Materials have a poetic quality in the context of an architectural object, although materials in themselves are not poetic”, this establishment in Mandu aims to bring light upon the elements present on the site. The massive structure of towering height and wide openings represents the Brutalist approach adopted. The long curved walls invites one to feel its surface, while walking along.
