Samagam - Aao Seekhe Ek Dusre Ke Sang

Currently the teenage girls are just at the receiving end in an Anganwadi system. The other activities and learning happen outside the Anganwadi, for these girls. However, an Anganwadi is already a space for learning. The program aims at combining the eagerness of teenage girls to learn something new with introduction of extra curricular activities for the kids. The program intends to elevate an Anganwadi from just a learning space to a center for exposure, encouraging simultaneous and symbiotic learning. While teenage girls could teach kids new things, indulge with them in activities as well as play with them, they in turn would be keeping themselves engaged in functioning Anganwadi. Additionally workshops and skill sharing sessions would be introduced for the girls to learn new and varied things. Thus, growing by reliving their childhood. Hence in a larger sense the program tries to pour in 2 different stakeholders of an Anganwadi within a single, cohesive exposure system.
