Imperial Ideas of Landscape

The project is built on the narrative of "Imperialism." It explores the colonial imprints in the designing and planning of landscapes of Lutyens' Delhi and the foreign influences which exhibit the imperial discourse. It dissects and analyses the different sections of landscaping done in central Vista. The landscape of each of these sections has different styles and influences, yet the underlying notions and tones are pretty promiscuous of the imperial theme.
