A new ground for Apparel park

The project aims to redevelop the existing metro station of Apparel park based on the social context of Apparel Park, Ahmedabad. It brings the women and children of the area from their cocooned houses to a place where they meet with known/ unknown people and upgrade themselves. The multi-functional clusters on the concourse and mezzanine plate are organized in a free and playful manner so that the users feel safe and private in using the spaces. There are mainly 5 clusters; blue for metro services, pink for upskilling, red for public services, green for the vending zone, and yellow for play and work.  The expression of the building is very light to create a constant connection of the underbelly with the station and also bring sunlight.
