The idea behind the projects in Urmila Art Gallery at CEPT University and Taantva Textile Centre in an abandoned industrial site  was to create spaces that had design interventions which protect the space’s original nature, respecting their unique atmosphere while at the same time restoring their important connection with their surroundings, Adaptive Reuse worked as a tool for testing innovative functional and social concepts that would revive the spirit of spaces and benefit the community from it.
