HOVER | Stool with the floating seat

To design a visually light stool by developing it from one of the six basic shapes that was given and the basic shape that was chosen was a frustum. The stool was made by integrating wood and metal, exposing the beauty of the joinery and also giving the seating a feel like it’s floating over the legs. The seat is held in it’s place by an interlocking mechanism with the rods holding it from the bottom and top.
