Furnitures for Residential Spaces- Array and Snug stool

The focus of the studio was a explore Metals as material and build simple furniture for a context. The Array side table and the Snug stool belong to a family of flatpack furniture, derived from the same junction module and other similar components. These furniture are design for any residential space. To make these furniture look custom to the space, they can be made in various sizes, material and finishes. The materials and techniques explored for these prototypes are MS capsule sections, MS sheet spinning, Aluminum casting, Arc and Gas welding, CNC wood cutting and various material finishes.
