Stingray - A Cafe Stool

The studio's primary aim was to acquaint us with metal fabrication and it's endless possibilities. Stingray is a flat-pack bar height stool which has been meticulously designed to celebrate the contemporary idea of ‘café culture’ in India. The general consensus has shifted their work life to cafes and they tend to spend longer durations of time there. The seating of the stool caters to this group by accommodating the person sitting and enforcing ideal posture. Functionality aside, the stool strives to appear visually sleek and weightless as if it were a stingray hovering over the seabed.
