Vulcan - The Residential Shelf

The studio aimed to get us accustomed to various metalworking processes by documenting actual manufacturing processes and gaining hands-on experience. The designed furniture piece had to be made flat-pack to facilitate easy transportation and assembly for the customers. Vulcan is a self-standing shelf that offers substantial load-carrying capacity, is very accessible, and adds a touch of elegance to your spaces. Made from aluminium sheet metal, sand cast joineries and mild steel rods and pipes.
