Cribriformed Artistry

Cribriformed Artistry is a biophilic home that draws inspiration from porous materials like dandelions, wood, and sunflowers. The shelter is made for a dancer who needs enough space for his workspace in a 35 sq m home. The idea of multipurpose spaces helps to achieve this. The living area can be transformed into a studio with movable seating. The bathroom/living room partition wall doubles as a TV unit when opened at an angle and a mirror when the room is used as a studio. Foldable dining is available in the kitchen. It folds completely to save space, opens to serve as a dining table and a work desk when fully extended. The location of the washroom allows access from both semi-private and private areas .To preserve privacy, the bedroom is located on the mezzanine. Additionally, the house has two additional sleeping areas that can only be used when necessary in order to save space.
