Expressing through Type

Typography is a method to communicate visually. Typography is used in various ways as it helps with identifying different line weights, intensities, and letter forms.  We explored hand lettering in an expressive form. Various abstract compositions were designed to visualize different spaces such as negative and positive areas. We learned about the process of collecting data and structuring it. I learned about printing and parameters. Using these different skills and understanding the various mediums which were both Digital and traditional pen and paper, an interactive installation and a card game inspired by today's youth was designed to spread mental health awareness.
