PBSS - Contractual Model

The Public Bike Sharing System (PBSS) is an ideal illustration for applying the principles of Service Operations Management. The studio has deployed exercises and tools including pilot surveys, data collection, expert lectures, immersion case studies and management tools like FMEA, RACI Matrix, Process profile worksheets, LEAN Management etc. to do Business Process Reengineering of PBS. The contractual model defines the ownership, roles and responsibilities of the key stakeholders for a given process. It also establishes the key controls to ensure efficiency in service delivery. This section of Contractual modelling explores these aspects of PBS.
