Privatization-Driven-Urbanization-Understanding Integrated Townships in India
This DRP will focus on detailed case studies of certain completed, successful (in terms of occupancy) integrated townships in India, in order to understand how this model of privatization-driven-urbanization is working out in terms of quality of life, defined through parameters like infrastructure, services, security, connectivity, pedestrianism, public space, affordability, and sense of neighborhood community. These case studies will help us understand private integrated townships with respect to the larger trajectory of urbanization in India.
