Maximizing Maximum City

Mumbai, one of the biggest cities and financial centers in India, is dealing with major urban problems such as congested traffic, deteriorating infrastructure, and the rising cost of living. One of Mumbai's newer neighborhoods, Parel-Sewri, was given attention through the Local Area Plan process. In order to  realize the objective of transforming Parel-Sewri into a well-connected, high-intensity, and affordable neighborhood by reacting to future development potential made possible by multimodal integration, the local area plan includes planning, project-based, and policy-based suggestions.
